Who we are
Upelo provides restaurants with their own branded ordering apps. This policy explains how we handle the information you share with us on upelo.io.
What we collect
When you request a demo, we collect the details you submit: your name, restaurant name, phone number, country, and — optionally — your email address and city. That's all; the website has no user accounts and collects nothing else about you.
How we use it
We use your details solely to contact you about your demo request and, if you become a customer, to set up your service. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
Where it lives and for how long
Demo requests are stored in Upelo's systems hosted on Amazon Web Services. We keep them for as long as needed to follow up; if you'd like your request deleted, email us and we'll remove it promptly.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses one first-party cookie, set by PostHog (our analytics provider, on servers in the EU), to tell visits apart and to recognise returning visitors. If you are in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland we ask first, and you can decline: then you are only counted as an anonymous hash that changes daily. Elsewhere the cookie is set on your first visit. The same cookie is shared with the demo ordering pages on upelo.io subdomains, so a visit that continues into a demo store stays one visit. Your region preference is stored only in your own browser. We see which parts of the page are viewed, for how long, which buttons are clicked, and your approximate location from your IP address. A visit is linked to you only when you send the demo request form, sign in on a demo ordering page, or open a link we sent you personally; it is then tied to that request, account or link by an internal reference, never by your name, phone number or email. Delete the cookies for upelo.io in your browser at any time to withdraw.
